OUR private torfhús

Our cozy, wooden-lined torfhús‘s offer privacy, rustic luxury and spectacular views over volcanic plains to snow-capped mountains and the Langjökull glacier beyond. Each Torfhús has a fully equipped kitchen, spacious living room, prizate basalt stone hot pool and veranda.

When you drive up to the gate in front of Torfus and it slowly rolls open to reveal the most charming and lovely place you could ever imagine, you know you are in for a treat. Torfhus did not disappoint! The little houses are absolutely perfect inside and out- a historical little house with all of the modern luxury amenities. The basalt hot tubs were HEAVEN.
